Get Involved in 16 Days of Activism

25th November – 10th December 2016

The United Nations is calling for people across the globe to take action to end gender-based violence for 16 Days of Activism. Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread human rights violations in the world. During 16 Days, Equation will be raising awareness of the 1 in 4 women in the UK and Nottingham who experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.

How can you help?

You can help us to raise awareness of the importance of challenging domestic abuse in our communities, and empower survivors of domestic abuse to speak out and access support. You can also help Equation deliver our work against abuse through fundraising. The funds you raise will support healthy relationships education for young people and vital domestic abuse response training in our communities. There are lots of ideas about how you can get involved in awareness-raising and fundraising below!
