Survivor and Perpetrator Manager

Equation is looking for an experienced professional, passionate about working to reduce domestic and sexual abuse and the harm it causes.

You will be responsible for improving survivor access to support services, including through the development and management of Equation’s service for men. In addition, you will further develop a service provision that enables an improved response to perpetrators of abuse.

You will utilise your expertise of working with survivors and perpetrators to develop, implement and review the Survivor and Perpetrator Strategy, work in partnership with other organisations, facilitate groups and communicate information in learning environments.

Equation offers a generous 26-days (pro rata) holiday allowance plus bank holidays (pro rata), gives employees flexibility on working times, and commits to continuing professional development of its staff through a variety of training opportunities. We are a small, positive and efficient team which will number 17 at the start of the contract.

Salary: PO2-PO3, NJC Spinal Column Pt 35-41, £30, 178 – £35, 662 (pro rata)

Freelance Trainer

Equation is looking for enthusiastic freelance trainers to work in partnership with our Training Coordinator. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about domestic abuse prevention and awareness raising.

As a freelance trainer, you will be responsible for co-delivering Equation’s reputable training to professionals and community groups across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire on a range of issues relating to domestic and sexual abuse.

You will have a strong working knowledge of domestic abuse and be proficient at communicating training content to a high standard.

Role details

Working hours: Variable predominantly during office hours

Working terms: The role is offered on a self-employed basis

Sessional Rate: £123.25 – £156.87 per full-day training session
