Trusts and Community Fundraiser

Equation is looking for an experienced fundraising professional to join their busy team taking the lead on trusts and community fundraising.

You will be responsible for researching, writing applications for and managing relationships with a portfolio of trusts and foundations. We are looking for someone with a knowledge of trust fundraising along with an ability to develop a compelling case for support and write high quality persuasive applications appropriate to the funder.

The role will also involve overseeing community income from a variety of Equation’s supporters and taking responsibility for growing the income in this area. This will include managing volunteers and arranging events. You should have strong relationship development skills and be organised in order to manage and maintain financial records.

Equation’s fundraiser will also take on responsibilities to support the small and hardworking team including managing a CRM and working with the team to identify and promote other income generation.

Working directly with the fundraising manager this is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving and growing charity working locally and having national impact.

We are a small, positive and efficient team which will number 17 at the start of the contract.

Working hours: 37 hours per week

Working term: 1-year initial contract, extended subject to funding

Salary: NJC Salary Scale 5-6, £20,253 – £24,472
