Calling all women!

Nottingham’s biggest and loudest annual grassroots protest against street harassment, victim blaming and all forms of men’s violence against women is back: Reclaim the Night on 12th November 2016, 6.30pm.

Join women of all colours, cultures, religions, ages and sexualities as we stomp, sing, dance and shout our way from Forest Recreation Ground to Market Square in protest of men’s violence against women. All people who have experienced misogynistic oppression as women are welcome, including non-binary and gender non-conforming people.

Once back at Market Square, we will be celebrating and supporting women’s self-organised action against violence with a Reclaim Rally, where female speakers will address our all-female crowd assembled at the Council House steps. Following this, women are all welcome at Nottingham Women’s Centre to warm up, enjoy some nibbles and socialise.

The March route and women’s centre are wheelchair-accessible, and accompanied children of all genders are welcome.

Men wishing to support may gather outside the church in St Peter’s Square for a separate solidarity vigil.
