Huge thanks to everyone who supported our recent fundraiser, a live glass walk and live music at The Orange Tree pub on Friday 5th September. It was great to see the venue filled with Equation supporters. We’ve raised over £6,000 so far and money is still coming in – thank you!
We started the evening with 30 supporters walking on broken glass to raise money for our pioneering work. There wasn’t a single wince, cry or shout of pain with every single one walking confidently across to much applause! All the photos of the glass walk can be found here.
There was a raffle which also helped to raise much needed funds, followed by live music from Opie Dieno and Kelly’s Heroes. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to all the glass walkers, musicians, volunteers, raffle prize donators and on-the-night revellers who helped to make the evening such a success!
