The 20th May saw the launch of a new campaign speaking out against domestic abuse in the UK.

It’s the product of a partnership between London-based charity Hestia, who provide support to children and adults in crisis, and the US anti-violence initiative NO MORE.

The goal of NO MORE is to galvanise people into taking a stance against domestic abuse– to stand up and say ‘No More’. By engaging everyone in the conversation and emphasising that it’s our shared responsibility to end domestic violence, the campaign aims to create a real dialogue that will lead to action– and the end of domestic abuse for good.

Bringing together loads of the UK’s national treasures for their first official campaign video, the NO MORE campaign emphasises that domestic abuse can and does happen to anyone– and anyone can speak out against it.

You can read more about the campaign’s goals and supporters, as well as how you can get involved yourself, on the UK SAYS NO MORE website.

If the campaign’s inspired you to speak out against domestic abuse, you can join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #UKSAYSNOMORE.

You could also consider getting involved with our work and help put a stop to domestic abuse in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire– find out more about our volunteer roles and fundraising events.
